A combination boiler provides central heating and instant hot water with no need for a storage facility. This is part of a ‘sealed’ system that means that there is no need for a tank in the loft or water storage cylinder. The advanced cxi range of high efficiency condensing combi boilers provide highly efficient heating and hot water, protecting the environment and saving householders money. The reliable stainless steel heat exchanger produces up to 15.5L/min and an impressive 5-second hot water response, with quiet operation. The cxi range has achieved the highest energy efficiency rating possible being listed as SEDBUK ‘A’ and gained top marks for low emissions with a NOx class 5 rating – the best possible. The 38cxi is also suitable for LPG applications without the need for a conversion kit. The fuel saving performance of the cxi range has been combined with an impressive range of features and they look great too! On-board diagnostics provide superior serviceability and Glow-worm's unique 'continua'© electronics will allow these boilers to continue where others may fail due to system faults. Fitted as standard is an inbuilt bypass, filling loop, 2-stage frost protection system and anti-seizure controls. The ‘Eco’ setting provides a further level of energy saving. A one-piece pre-fixing jig is supplied for ease of installation. Extensive flueing options are a feature of all new Glow-worm boilers, allowing greater flexibility in installation.
